Forever Blossoms card using the Scrappy Strip Technique

19 March 2020

I have created this card after watching Kylie & Bruno's Bertucci's YouTube video with Bruno demonstrating his new technique that has now been called the scrappy strip technique!! This is a brilliant way to use all of your cut offs and scraps and put them to good use to make beautiful cards.

If you would like to see the YouTube video yourself, head over to Kylie Bertucci's blog below.

Kylie & Bruno are wonderful people and their videos together are always full of laughter!!

For this card I used Mint Macaron cardstock for the base, a piece from the Parisian Blossoms designer series paper on top of the base, then a layer of whisper white cardstock. I then created a layer of strips I had from another card on top of gorgeous grape cardstock. I stamped the images from the Forever Blossoms stamps set, then cut them out with the matching Cherry Blossoms Dies.

I added the cut out pieces to the whisper white cardstock using Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added some Basic Pearl Jewels and stamped the sentiment in Momento Ink from the Forever Blossoms stamp set.

I think this wedding card is just beautiful and it has used a whole heap of scraps!!
