Tags In Bloom Card using Scrappy Strip Technique

24 March 2020

I had been cutting my new beautiful So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series paper that I had received from the current Sale-A-Bration when I had scraps, and that meant I had to complete a #scrappystriptechnique card!!

I absolutely adore the soft pastels in the vellum and matched it with Stampin' Blends from the Subtles collection. I also used the Tags In Bloom stamp set which I also received from the Sale-A-Bration. The flowers and leaves are from the Free As A Bird stamp set and I fussy cut each one of them out and layered them with Stampin' Dimensionals to create a nice effect. I used Stampin' Blends in Dark Mint Macaron, Dark Flirty Flamingo, Dark So Saffron and Dark Highland Heather.

The card base and layer is Whisper White cardstock.

Usually it is very hard to use vellum without seeing the glue behind it, however I used the mini glue dots which aren't very obvious and easy to attach to each strip.

The products I used are below, just click on the image if you wish to find out more about the products or wish to purchase them from my online store.
