Ornate Garden Bundle Card | From Facebook Live

21 April 2020

Hello everyone, well today I stepped way out into an uncomfortable zone for me. I held my very first Facebook live!! I didn't realise that my screen was sideways and I need to work out how to see comments being made while I'm crafting, however for my first time I think it was ok!!

I used the brand new Ornate Garden bundle for today's live to make a "I'm grateful for all your help" card. When I first saw this bundle I wasn't sold, but after seeing it up close, I am now in LOVE with it!! Here is the card I made.

The base of the card was mossy meadow cardstock  10.5cm x 29.7cm or 5.5" x 8.5" fold in half and use a bone folder to score the card.

Next layer was Sahara Sand cardstock 10cm x 14.4cm or 4" x 5 1/4 ", using the multi liquid glue, adhere to the base of the card.

I then used Early Espresso cardstock 9.5cm x 1.39cm or 3 3/4 " x 5", again adhere this layer on top of the Sahara Sand cardstock layer.

The final cardstock layer I used Merry Merlot 9cm x 13.4cm or 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", adhere this layer on top of the Early Espresso layer.

Next I used a piece of the Ornate Garden designer series paper and using a die from the Ornate Layers Die set I cut out a layer. I used my Merry Merlot Stampin' Pad to colour some of the flowers as I didn't have the Merry Merlot Stampin' Blend. Then I used the Light & Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends, Light & Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends & Light & Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends to colour in the designer series paper.

Once coloured I added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the paper to adhere to the card base.

I then used the "So Grateful" and "For all your help" stamps from the Ornate Thanks Stamp set and stamped using Mossy Meadow Stampin' Pad to create the sentiment for the card onto a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock. I used the trimmer to trim around the sentiment and added that to the card using stampin' dimensionals.

I cut a piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock to 10cm x 14.4cm to create the inside of the card.

I adore the colours in this card and am very pleased how it looks. If you would like to find out more about the products or to purchase them from my online store, click on the images below.
